We are thrilled to share the story behind our latest micro-lot: Cali’s Cliffs, a Pacamara anaerobic from Café Granja La Esperanza in Colombia. This isn’t just any coffee it was purchased at the CGLE auction “Colombia’s Summits”, after eight hours of intense bidding their auction platform.
This is our second ever anaerobic Pacamara. The first time we brought this variety in was Pacamara Dalia, which we won at the Cafe Granja La Esperanza Garden Auction a few years ago. Anyone who tasted that will recognise the shape of this flavour profile straight away. This new one, Calli’s Cliffs, is a step up again.
This lot is rare. Only 33.10 pounds were produced, making it a unique opportunity to taste something that few people in the world will ever get to experience. The auction platform is where specialty coffee professionals compete for the highest quality micro-lots, and we were proud to secure this exceptional coffee for our customers in Dublin.
The coffee itself is remarkable. The cupping notes speak for themselves: lemongrass, rum and raisins, blueberry, and hibiscus. Anaerobic fermentation brings out unusual complexity floral and fruity notes, with a touch of boozy sweetness. Careful drying preserves these delicate flavours.
We are offering this lot in limited quantities. It’s priced to reflect both its rarity and the care that goes into sourcing, roasting, and delivering it. Each 100 g bag at 59.99 euro gives you a chance to experience a coffee that is as exclusive as it is extraordinary.
Cali’s Cliffs is more than coffee; it’s a taste of the auction experience, a connection to a single Colombian farm, and a story of passion, precision, and patience.
