The Gasharu Story: A Shared Passion for Quality
Our relationship with Gasharu Coffee began back in 2020 during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was at this time that we first tasted Valentin’s coffee, and we were instantly struck by the quality and character of the beans. After several meetings at various coffee events, we decided to pursue a direct trade partnership, and in 2024, we sealed the deal at the World of Coffee event in Copenhagen.
This marked a significant milestone, as it was not only Valentin’s first container shipment of coffee to Ireland, but also Silverskin Coffee’s first container of Gasharu coffee. Since then, we’ve been eagerly working to share the fruits of our partnership with you, our loyal customers.
Introducing Gasharu’s Coffees: Washed, Natural, Peaberry, Impano and Ireme.
Today, we’re excited to offer a selection of Gasharu’s finest coffees on our website, all of which are sourced from the stunning Gasharu farm in Rwanda, a region known for its unique growing conditions and dedication to sustainability. We have four distinct offerings from Gasharu that we’re incredibly proud to share:
